Return & Refund Policy

At Bookland, we want customers to receive their books in the condition described on our website.

Please read our return and refund policy before placing an order.

Return Eligibility

If you receive an incorrect book, a book damaged during shipping, or a copy in significantly worse condition than described, message us on Instagram within 15 days of receiving your order. We will review the issue and arrange an exchange or replacement where appropriate and available, or a refund for an approved eligible return.

To help us review the issue, you may be asked to provide:

• Your order number
• Clear photographs or video of the received item
• A description of the issue

Book Condition

Our books are original, preloved copies in good readable condition, not brand new unless specifically labelled Brand New. Cover scratches, creases, marks, worn edges and binding wear can occur in preloved books. Prices reflect the condition of each copy and comparable book prices.

A return will generally not be accepted solely for a condition or feature that was clearly disclosed or visible in the product description or photographs before purchase.

Non-Returnable Items

A return may not be accepted if:

• The customer changes their mind after receiving the correct item
• The book has been damaged after delivery
• The item is returned in a different condition from when it was received
• The reported issue was already clearly disclosed on the product page

Any additional exclusions required by applicable law will still apply.

Refunds

Once an eligible returned item has been received and inspected, we will inform you of the outcome.

If approved, the refund will be processed using the applicable available refund method within 15 days

Original delivery charges and return shipping charges may be non-refundable unless the return is due to an incorrect or damaged item supplied by us.
